— Why become an IAM member ? —
If you believe in the vision of the IAM of bringing memory sports to everybody and providing a free and democratic environment for the memory community, where people can participate as they wish and contribute to our common effort, you should join us. As a member, you can also directly influence who will be the next leaders of the IAM, by voting in the upcoming IAM board elections.
— How can I register? —
The registration to become an IAM member will be open starting today. Anyone can become a member, and all you have to do is to fill in this form: https://goo.gl/forms/JOpp4eWwr1uQSmmW2
In the near future we will also announce the start of the election of the IAM board and its timeline. Once the election is announced, IAM members will be able to apply as candidates for the IAM board. You can still register as an IAM member once the election timeline has been announced, so there is still plenty of time for you to decide if you want to run for the IAM board, and for you to register in order to be able to vote.
While anyone can become a member of the IAM, please note that only members who have been active in the memory community in the past 3 years and who are at least 15 years of age, will be eligible to vote.
