The following topics were discussed:
Italian Open 2022
The meeting consisted of a last pre-tournament update from arbiter Nathalie Lecordier who will be on site on 2 and 3 April 2022 for the event in Rome. She has arrived yesterday evening. Topics discussed were potential noise levels, possibilities to help remotely, assignment of supervisors, clarification who would handle eventual complaints regarding the digital marking of Words for each provided language, some briefing about invigilation duties, replacement sets for Spoken Numbers in case something happened and a number of further logistical matters.
Nathalie Lecordier: last Board meeting
We have also talked about the fact that this would be Nathalie’s last Board meeting after she had decided not to stand for election again for the coming term. She will remain in an arbiter role and help and support with data preparation and further matters. We are extremely grateful for all contributions she has made during the last years and we are extremely happy that she will still be a helping hand when it comes to arbiting and supervising matters. We would also be happy to still have her attending Board meetings whenever feasible in a consulting expert role regarding arbiting matters.
