The Board had its regular meetings on the last 2 weeks.

Here is a short summary of what was discussed and decided:
The moderator for this session was Simon Reinhard and the secretary Guillaume Petit-Jean.
On the Agenda were the following points:
Regarding the legal structure of the new IAM association, the statutes have been written for the association to be created in France. Statutes have to be signed by the president and then published in the official journal.
Upcoming competitions:
The upcoming competitions in partnership with the IAM are the Iranian, Egyptian and German Memory XL competitions in September, the French national Open in October and the Uzbekistan championship in July. Decisions have been made regarding the remote supervision and/or the official IAM arbiters who will be sent on site.
WMC 2022:
The board will be deciding in the coming days if a candidacy for this year’s world championship is admissible.
WMC 2023:
The IAM board is now accepting candidacies for the hosting of the World Memory Championship 2023.
