The IAM board had its bi-weekly board meeting today (attending: Charifa, Don, Johannes, Mohamed, Simon). After the end of the interview stage of the WMC 2023 application process, it was time to decide in favor of a bid.
The members have weighed all the options and pros and cons between the bids and in the end the Indian bid (from Mr Amrut Jadhav and his team) received enough votes to be awarded the host for the IAM WMC 2023.
We are very happy to be working together with such an experienced and motivated partner for the most important memory tournament of the year. About the time and date: at the moment, it is clear that the championship will take place in Mumbai, India. Specific details about venue and exact date (most probably towards the end of the year) will be posted here as soon as they are finalized.
