We are excited to announce new information and the registration process for our upcoming event: The IAM World Memory Championship 2023.

Registration process:
For this specific event, we have a total of 150 seats reserved for non-Indian attendees. The allocation of these spots is as follows:110 seats are strictly reserved, taking into account the World Rankings (WR) as of July 23rd, which includes the Top 100 participants and an additional 10 Wildcard entries.
The Wildcards entries can not be requested. They are reserved for special cases like i.e. A former World Champion who has not participated for a long time.
The remaining 40 spots are immediately available on a First Come, First Serve (FCFS) basis.
In essence, our seating arrangement now comprises 110 Reserved spots and 40 FCFS spots. After the initial 40 FCFS slots have been filled, we will momentarily pause new registrations to verify which of these new registrants fall within the Top 100. During this pause, new registrations will be placed on a waiting list.
The system will keep updating the number of spots available based on the registrations.
For example, if a participant outside the Top 100 registers, the spots will adjust to 149 total, with 110 in Reserved and 39 in FCFS.
Similarly, if a participant from the Top 100 registers, the count will change to 148 total, with 109 in Reserved and 99 in FCFS.
Once all FCFS spots are taken, any additional registrations will be placed on a waiting list until the Top 100 deadline.
The Top 100 deadline is August 31st. For all competitors with the Top 100, a seat is secured up to this date. After the deadline, any remaining spots in the Reserved category will be converted into FCFS spots. This process has been designed to provide equal opportunity for all interested participants.
